Wishbones

In all vehicles, wishbone suspension is an independent suspension design using two wishbone-shaped arms to locate the steering wheel.

Each wishbone has two mounting points to the chassis and one joint at the knuckle. The shock absorber and coil spring mount onto the wishbones to control the vertical movement.

Double wishbone designs allow the driver of the vehicle to carefully control the motion of the wheel throughout suspension travel.

We are wishbone suspensions specialists at Glasgow Power Steering and we are always happy to welcome any enquiry you may have.
